“No Worries.” What a perfect name for a collection of fabulous papers and accessories for scrapbooking relaxed, sunshine filled days of summer. This month I’ve had so much fun designing a new set of four, two-page layouts featuring the Close to My Heart No Worries Paper Packet and Complements. I love the great title options, woodgrain sequins, and unique paper patterns that come with this kit. Seriously…How about that sunset paper, wicker print, and distressed woodgrain pattern?

I chose simple compositions for these layouts that give a good variety of horizontal and vertical photos in sizes that also match Close To My Heart Flip Flaps. That should provide lots of storytelling options as you are adding your pictures and journaling to the pages. What do you think?

I added in a little  to these layouts, because I loved the color and texture that it brought to the mix. In fact, I couldn’t resist using the Kraft Cardstock to turn the Bottom Border composition in the first layout into a grass skirt look. In the photo below, you can see a little bit of the “grass skirt.” To make it, I just made little random cuts with my CTMH Non-Stick Micro-Tip Scissors, leaving about 1/2″ uncut along the top to hold it all together. I ink distressed the edges to create a little more definition between the strands of paper. In the picture you can also see the White Burlap Ribbon that I placed along the top of that cut cardstock.

Ink distressing is super easy. Holding an open stamp pad, you simply swipe the edges of the paper with the ink. You can add as much or as little as you like. I used a Cashmere Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad, which also matches the Cashmere Cardstock in the No Worries Coordinating Cardstock Packet. You can see some of the ink distressing in the close up photos below, as well as some of the fun textures and details in the No Worries Complements and No Worries Sequins.

These great papers and accessories are only here for the summer, so if you would like to add these pages to your albums, contact me soon. I want to be sure we get your supplies ordered before they sell out, because we all know something this cute may go fast.

To make these pages you can choose from three options.

  1. Sign up to attend a Scrapbook Workshop. If you live near the Boise area, choose a date from the list below and come enjoy some creative time at my house.
  2. Purchase a Scrapbook Workshop Kit To Go. When you purchase a Workshop Kit To Go, everything comes pre-cut and ready to put together. Simply follow the assemble tips to put the layouts together, and have pages ready for photos.
  3. Get a Scrapbook Workshop Guide to create the pages at your convenience. You can purchase a Workshop Guide for $10, or get a full set FREE when you place a $25 order on my website.
